Slip Stitch (ss)
The slip stitch is used as a connecting stitch and the place where you need to move to a new round without impacting the height of the round.

Insert the hook into the next stitch.

Yarn around the hook and bring the yarn through the stitch hole.

There are 2 loops on the hook. Bring the first loop through the second loop with the hook.

The slip stitch is completed.
